Colorized, Hologram, and Gold-Plated U.S. Presidential Dollars!

The
U.S. Mint’s new Presidential Dollar program is off to a great
start and has stimulated our artists to create beautiful treatments
for these magnificent new coins, just as they have done for the
extremely popular Statehood Quarters. These Presidential Dollars
all started out as original U.S. Mint issues and have been dramatically
enhanced with colorization, holograms, and 24-karat gold plating,
all permanently fused to the surface of the coin.
The
colorized coins are beautifully decorated on both the obverse and
reverse sides. The hologram coins add sparkling vibrancy to the

obverse
portrait, and the 24-karat gold-plated examples transform the coins’
original golden hue into the stunning, richness of color only possible
with pure gold.
The
first coin in the series, the George Washington dollar has just
been released. Three more coins will be released this year, and
then four more each year until the set is complete. There will never
be a better time to begin your collection of the enhanced versions!
These colorfully treated new dollar coins also make wonderful gifts,
and may be purchased with attractive display cases and albums.
